1967. SMS. PCGS graded MS-68. Normally, we don't get excited about a 1967 SMS Half Dollar, but this one is amazing! The color on the obverse is simply stupendous, with a mix of blue, gold, and orange colors darkening as they near the rims. The reverse has faint traces of color near the rims, but nothing near the degree seen on the obverse. The surfaces are immaculate, as expected for the grade. PCGS has graded 22 at this level, with none finer, and we bet this one would win a beauty contest among the 22 any old day! Expect a breathless crowd as the bidding for this piece reaches incredible heights.
Estimated Value $500-600.
