1834. NGC graded MS-63. Splashes of burnt-gold toning appear on both sides of this frosty, white coin. Boldly struck on both sides, giving the reverse the "look" of a Gem.

Tied for the Finest Example Graded by PCGS

Lot 1492 Click on photo for enlarged version Click on photo for enlarged version
1835. Small date, small 5¢. PCGS graded MS-67. Premium Quality. A stunning, pure white monster of an 1835 Half Dime. Hypnotic, creamy fields, a dangerously crisp strike, immaculate, virgin surfaces. We simply cannot imagine a finer example. That's the reality of this date, as well, because no 1835 Half Dime has been graded finer by PCGS. They've certified two of this variety in MS-67, plus two others of different varieties, making a total of 4 coins at this level (again) with none finer!
Estimated Value $14,000-15,000.
