Reverse: Diadumenian standing left, head right, holding standard and scepter, two standards behind. RIC 102; RSC 3. Scarce. Well struck and perfectly centered, with good youthful portrait. Lightly toned. Choice Very Fine.

Diadumenian, 218 AD. AE Sestertius. Bare head of the young ruler facing right. Reverse: Diadumenian standing facing, head right, holding standard and scepter; to right, two standards. RIC 211; C-7; S-2074. Full legends on the obverse. Pleasing reddish-brown patina. A couple of minor flaws on the emperor's head. The fields were probably smoothed; nonetheless, a very desirable specimen and quite rare. About Very Fine.
