Diadumenian, 218 AD. AE Sestertius. Bare head of the young ruler facing right. Reverse: Diadumenian standing facing, head right, holding standard and scepter; to right, two standards. RIC 211; C-7; S-2074. Full legends on the obverse. Pleasing reddish-brown patina. A couple of minor flaws on the emperor's head. The fields were probably smoothed; nonetheless, a very desirable specimen and quite rare. About Very Fine.
