Lot 1976
1866. PCGS graded
Proof 64 Red. Premium Quality. A scarce issue, just 725 were struck, and
most have been impaired over the years. Not so here, this lovely specimen
retains the full red color imparted by the dies, and shows very few signs of
handling. Note the well frosted devices on both sides. An impressive coin for
the grade.
Estimated Value $650-750.
