Lot 316

The Photorealism movement started in the 1960s, using
exacting techniques to create paintings and sculpture that closely
resembled photographs. The generally mundane subject matter is not
important -- rather, the purpose of a photorealist work is to examine the
way we interpret art and the mental images it represents.
