Wright, Orville. (1871-1948) American Aviation Pioneer. First, with his brother Wilbur, to fly a heavier-than-air machine at Kitty Hawk, N.C., December 17, 1903. Inscribed Visiting Card Signed. 3 x 1½", on off-white card stock. Inscribed on verso, "To Nora Babbitt Harsh with good wishes Orville Wright." Dated "Aug. 28, 1944 Dayton O" in another hand. Small area of water damage affecting a portion of the printed name, though not affecting Wright's signature.
