Stevenson, Robert Louis. Inscribed Visiting Card. 3 x 1½", on off white card stock with black mourning border. Inscribed in pencil, "Mrs. Fairchild ," above Stevenson's printed name, and then "a person very open to a visit" below. The card gives the "Savile Club, London" as Stevenson's address in London, and "Sherryvore, Bournemouth" as his address outside the city. Inscription somewhat light, but still legible.
