Scott, Sir Walter. (1771-1832) Scottish Novelist, whose works include the popular romances, The Lady of the Lake (1810), and Ivanhoe (1819). Inscribed Visiting Card Signed. 3 x 1½", on cream card stock. With the author's name imprinted in gilt in the upper left corner, and signed: "Sir Walter Scott" below, with the author's address "96 Piccadilly" also inscribed in Scott's hand. Mounting traces on verso, and moderately worn from handling, otherwise fine.
