Schoenberg, Arnold. (1874-1951) Austrian Composer, a modernist whose search for a personal style led him to abandon the traditional structure of tonality and adopt his concept of the 12-tone scale. Inscribed Visiting Card. 4 x 1¾", on cream card stock. An especially attractive card with an asymmetrical design. The composer has penned a lengthy inscription on the back of the card in German and dated the note "March 10, 1913."
