Burr, Theodosia. (1783-1813) American Adventuress, lost at sea. Daughter of Aaron Burr. Visiting Card. 3½ x 2½", on cream card stock with an elaborately embossed floral field. A delicately wrought card imprinted, "Mrs. J. Alston." Ornamented with a light red border. Theodosia Burr was the wife of the wealthy Governor Joseph Alston, and the card is imprinted "Mrs. J. Alston." .
