Two Large Christmas Cards Signed. Lot of two large matching Christmas cards from the royal family:
A. Christmas Card From Queen Elizabeth. Large cream-colored card, two pages, folded, 9½ x 8", 1954, with a gilt embossed Crown on the front cover, and a color photograph portrait of the heavily robed Queen and Princess Elizabeth mounted inside, facing the printed greeting which reads, "With Best Wishes For Christmas and The New Year." Queen Elizabeth has penned the date, "1954," and signed, "From Elizabeth R," in bold black ink, underscored by a paraph.
B. Christmas Card From Prince Philip. Large cream-colored card, two pages, folded, 7 x 9½", 1956, with a gilt embossed imprint of the Crown on the front cover, and a Black & White half-tone image of the Prince with his family mounted within, facing the printed greeting which reads: "With Best Wishes For Christmas And The New Year." Boldly signed, "Philip 1956," in blue ink. Fine. Both cards are slightly soiled from handling.
