Lot 5305
RUSSIA. Novodel 5 Kopecks, 1757. B-114; KM-N42. Edge-5. Elizabeth. Too large for holder, with tag. This massive copper is about as impressive as a copper coin can be. It's perfectly centered with jumbo rims, an unblemished edge with the curious cross-hatching device, and the surfaces are semi-reflective and a delightful chocolate brown with mint golden red outlining all the devices, providing a dramatic eye appeal. In addition, there is a hint of lovely light blue iridescence. Superb! NGC graded Proof 66.
