Arcadius, 383-408 AD. Gold Solidus (4.4g). Minted at Constantinople in 397-402 AD. Helmeted and cuirassed bust of the emperor facing, holding spear and shield. Reverse: Constantinopolis enthroned facing, head right, holding scepter and Victory on globe, foot on prow. RIC 7. Some scratches noted in right obverse field. Extremely Fine.
