Severus Alexander, 222-235 AD. AE Sestertius. Mint of Rome in 231 AD. Laureate and draped bust of the emperor to right. Reverse: Sol standing, raising right hand and holding globe. RIC-515; C-412. Attractive reddish green patina. Some tooling noted, nonetheless, a most impressive large bronze. Choice Very Fine.
