Sextus Pompey, son of Pompey the Great. 42-40 BC. AR Denarius (3.4g). Bare head of Pompey the Great right, between capis and lituus. Reverse: Neptune left, foot on prow, between the brothers Anapias and Amphinomous, with their parents on their shoulders. Cr. 511/3a; RSC 17. Attractive old toning, with bold, expressive portrait. Very Fine.
