Augustus & Agrippa. 15-10 BC. AE As. Nemausus in Gaul mint. Back to back heads of Agrippa left, with rostral crown, and bareheaded Augustus right. Reverse: Palm-shoot behind chained crocodile, filleted wreath near top of palm; COL NEM. RIC 155-7; RPC 523. Unusually well defined, with outstanding detail. Chocolate toning with lighter brass highlights. Very Fine.
