SIERRA LEONE. 20 Cents, 1791. KM-4a. Bronzed copper. Lion obverse; reverse shows the clasped hands of free European and enslaved African. A splendid bronzed Proof having perfect "chocolate" surfaces, a hint of bluish iridescence, and none of the usual spotting or flaws. Rare in this state. PCGS graded Proof 67.
